Essex This Earth Day, the Essex Region Conservation Authority and Essex Region Conservation Foundation are proud to announce a partnership with Tilray Brands, Inc. (“Tilray Brands”) (NASDAQ: TLRY, TSX: TLRY), which will improve access to the region’s Greenway trail system while adding native pollinator plants to our region.

The Tilray Brands Plant Positivity Community Entrance to the Cypher Systems Group Greenway will open this June to provide enhanced trail connectivity, improved parking and a resting stop with shaded areas for trail users from across the region. This important access to the 80 kilometre connected trail system is located centrally in the region, approximately one kilometre from the intersection of the Cypher Systems Group Greenway and the Chrysler Canada Greenway. The new entrance will also feature a native plant garden with species such as butterfly milkweed, little bluestem, mountain mint, cylindrical blazing star to provide much needed pollinator habitat.

“The importance of the new Plant Positivity Community Entrance by Tilray Brands, as a central feature to the entire Greenway system, cannot be overstated,” says Claire Wales, President of the Essex Region Conservation Foundation. “It provides a place of connectivity for cyclists, walkers, birders and all nature lovers to rest and appreciate the beautiful native plant species that have been added to this community entrance. We are so grateful to Tilray Brands for this gift to the community, and are so excited to share news of this wonderful partnership on Earth Day.”

Plant Positivity is one of Tilray Brands’ Corporate Social Responsibility platforms to give back to both people and the planet. Plant Positivity champions the incredible power that plants have in overall well-being and providing greater access to green spaces for communities.

“We’re proud to celebrate Earth Day and partner with the Essex Region Conservation Foundation in launching the Plant Positivity Community Entrance to support the Windsor-Essex Community,” says Irwin D. Simon, Chairman and CEO of Tilray Brands. “At Tilray Brands, we are guided by our core values and our integral role to respect the earth. We continue to seed our best foot forward, have a positive impact on the environment and make a difference in local communities through partnerships like this that closely align with our values.”

The grand opening of this entrance is planned for June, when Tilray Brands’ employees will join dignitaries from the region in planting the pollinator plants.

Since 1973, Essex Region Conservation has been working to create a sustainable environment for the Windsor-Essex-Pelee Island region.
