Join us at the John R. Park Homestead on Sunday, May 25th from 9:30am to 4pm for an Introduction to Basket Weaving workshop with Louise Warner MacDougall of Beader Beader Basket Weaver!
In this class participants will craft a unique and beautiful ‘Dragonfly’ market basket (approx. 15” x 6” base and 7” high). This basket features an open weave base and is woven from reed in a striking dragonfly design. A perfect class for beginners with some more advanced element options for intermediate weavers, too! This class continues a series of basketry workshops planned for the Homestead this year! Stay tuned for upcoming courses.
