Essex Region Children’s Water Festival
Held annually during the last week of May at the Canadian Transportation Museum, the festival continues to be a smashing success! The Essex Region Children’s Water Festival educates thousands of students about the critical importance of clean water.
Classes are registered for a one-day field trip, with students experiencing hands-on activities, teaching them the importance of:
- Water conservation
- Water protection
- Science & technology
All activity centres are designed to meet the teaching objectives of the Ontario Curriculum. Most importantly, the Water Fest is a FUN way for students to learn about our most valuable resource – water.
A special French Immersion day is offered mid-week.
