Policy and budget decisions are made by a Board comprised of nineteen (19) members appointed by our municipal partners. The number of representatives appointed as Members of the ERCA Board of Directors are based on population as outlined in subsection 2(2) of the Conservation Authorities Act and ERCA’s Bylaws.

Minutes for each meeting are posted once they have been approved by the Board of Directors. Agendas are generally available one week prior to the scheduled meeting. If you are interested in the meeting minutes from a previous year, please contact our office directly.
Delegations to any Authority meeting will be considered, if requested in writing at least ten (10) days prior to the meeting, or if otherwise approved by the Authority Chairman. Such written request must state the purpose of the delegation.
Delegations to any meeting of the Authority will be limited to one key spokesperson and will be allotted a maximum of five (5) minutes for their related presentation, with the Chairman’s discretion to allow ten (10) minutes.

As the funding received from the Government of Ontario in 2022 ($322,863.38) did not exceed $1,000,000 and is less than 10 per cent of the Authority’s gross revenues for the year, the Authority is not considered a public body employer for the purposes of the Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996, in 2022.
